What we collect

When you send an enquiry through this website we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, the service you need and the details you provide. The server also records your IP address with the enquiry to help prevent spam.

If you become a client, we also keep the information needed to deliver the work, such as site addresses, drawings, correspondence, invoices and certificates.

Why we use it

We rely on your consent (given on the enquiry form), on steps needed to enter into or perform a contract with you, and on legal obligations. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing. If we start a newsletter, we will only send it to people who sign up for it, and every issue will carry an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

This website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google when a page opens.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Project records, calculations and certificates are kept for as long as professional, insurance and legal requirements need them.

How we protect it

The website runs over an encrypted connection (https). Email and project files are kept in password-protected accounts with access limited to people who need them.

Your rights

You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. You may withdraw consent at any time. Send requests to the Information Officer at info@kanyezi.co.za.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
